Ken Tape is a lifelong Alaskan nature and science photographer, whose artistic interest is in capturing unique perspectives of landscapes, auroras, ancients, and adventures.
Arctic
Ken’s passion for the outdoors and the beauty of the Arctic has motivated him to seek out and record the timeless moments of remote Arctic locations.
Outreach
Ken’s photos are presented in his book “The Changing Arctic Landscape” (University of Alaska Press, March 2010). The content from the book was developed into a national traveling interactive museum exhibit.
Science
Ken uses repeat photography to detect changes in vegetation, glaciers, and permafrost in response to climate change. His science webpage is here.
